These bites use oats instead of nuts, this makes them low in fat. However, I am not saying nuts are bad! They are really not. But if you have a nut allergy these bites are perfect for you!

The first time I made these bites I couldn’t believe how amazing they tasted! Now I take them everywhere, I love to carry these around in my bag so I will always have a quick snack handy for whenever I need them. I also find it great to store some of these in my freezer so I can make sure I am always stocked up!

The chocolate in these bites makes them very child friendly, and you don’t have to worry about any nasty ingredients! They are also fun to make, so any kids will have a great time rolling the dough into balls and licking up the mix.

Along with being totally nut free and vegan, these bites are also raw. You can also make them totally gluten free if you use GF oats. Therefore this recipe really does cater for everyone!

Keep these bites in an air tight container for up to 10 days – however I’m sure they won’t last that long! Another great thing about these bites it that you can make them as large or as small as you want. If you want to make larger balls for a more filling snack you defiantly can – their so versatile!

Finally these bites only have 5 ingredients. So when you are running low you can easily whip these up without having to run out to the shops or spend ages making a complicated treat.

I really hope you enjoy this recipe! If you make it please feel free to share a photo with my on Instagram!

    1. Awwww – you could always try making it in a blender, just adding the ingredients slower and try chopping the dates really small first? x
