These healthy vegan pancakes are perfect for anyone trying to keep healthy but still want a delicious treat. They are also vegan, so prefect for anyone not eating dairy.
These pancakes are really similar to my healthy whole wheat pancakes, but without the yogurt. Making these totally VEGAN!
The pancakes are super simple and only require a few ingredients. Therefore they are perfect if you want to make pancakes but don’t have an yogurt or eggs.
If you haven’t notice by now, I love pancakes. However I recently really wanted pancakes and we had no bananas or greek yogurt in our house. So I decided to create pancakes that didn’t need any of those ingredients but still tasted just as good.
Like most of my recipes, these pancakes use whole wheat flour which is a great alternative to regular flour and gives these pancakes a beautiful brown colour. Also in these healthy vegan pancakes is baking powder. This helps to give them a slight rise and creates a fluffy texture. As their is no eggs in this recipe you need a good amount of baking powder to create a rise.
I love topping these pancakes with blueberries and maple syrup! However you can use any toppings, I also love banana and honey or strawberries. Chocolate chips are also great as they melt slightly! The possibilities are endless.
